Connecting with co-workers using native ipDTL calling
While you can make SIP calls to any ipDTL user (see above), native ipDTL calls can give more reliable results and/or lower latency in some circumstances.

If your ipDTL subscription has multiple Usernames, then your co-workers names will appear in your main Destinations list, when they are logged in. Click their name, to connect with them.

If somebody from outside your subscription account would like to connect with you while logged in as themselves, you can link their Username to your subscription, as follows...

• Click the Link icon from the menu bar.
• Under Linked Usernames, enter their ipDTL Username and click on 'Link'.
• Now, ask the other party to refresh their ipDTL page.
• Your organization's name should now appear as an option in their drop-down selector, above their Destination List. Now if they choose your organization from the list, they'll appear in your Destination list, and you can click their name to connect.
