The Prodys Quantum range of hardware codecs is fully compatible with sip.audio. It includes OPUS, our preferred codec for interoperability.
CONFIGURATION
Video: Configure Prodys Quantum for sip.audio
- Log in to the web interface for the device using its IP address. You can also configure from the touch screen.
- Navigate to Menu > Conf > Audio > Encoders
Algorithm: OPUS - Click 'OK'.
- Navigate to Menu > Streaming > Protocol > Address
STUN Server: stun.sip.audio - Click 'OK'.
- Navigate to Menu > Streaming > Protocol > Server
Register in Server: Yes
Server IP: sip.audio
Auth User: SIP Username (For example, enter fmstation.quantum for fmstation.quantum@sip.audio)
User Name: Same as Auth User
Auth Pass: SIP Username's Password
Enable Outbound Proxy Server: Yes
Server: proxy.sip.audio - Click 'OK'.
- Navigate to Menu > System > Advanced
SIP: Enable Infinite Redial On connection Lost 0 - On the home screen, check the SIP Status. It should show '200', if successfully registered to the SIP server.
