Last Updated 22 hours ago

You can configure shortcuts, which can be used to dial regular SIP addresses or phone numbers from all of your subscribed Usernames.

ipDTL & hybrIP
Having logged in, click on Shortcuts (one of the green icons) and enter the details for your desired shortcut as follows...

  • Choose Telephone for a regular phone number, or SIP (EBU Tech 3326) for a SIP address.
  • Display Name: A friendly name, such as John Smith.
  • In the next field, enter a number (e.g. +15169602283) or SIP address (e.g. jsmith@sip.audio)
  • For Privacy, choose who will see the shortcut (Username, Account or Guests).
  • Click Save.

Your new shortcut will be visible in the Destinations list for users and Send a Link guests, as determined by the Privacy setting.

sip.audio
Log into the sip.audio website, and navigate to the Shortcut Editor page. Under New Shortcut, enter the details for your desired shortcut, as follows...

  • Shortcut Name: A friendly name, such as John Smith.
  • Dialing Code: A simple code using alpha characters, such as JSMITH
  • Number or Address: enter a number (e.g. +15169602283) or SIP address (e.g. john.smith@sip.audio)

Your registered Username(s) can now dial JSMITH from a SIP client, which will in turn dial john.smith@sip.audio
